Wow... I wish I took photos before we started eating, but we were too hungry!

The atmosphere inside is quite dim at night. There's plenty of tables. When we went on a weeknight, it was about half full.

The 4 of us ordered 3 dishes to share, and it ended up being around $20 per person.
    1) Seafood pancake
    2) Kalbi
    3) Bossam (large - comes with extra meat)

Seafood pancake - It came out fresh and crispy. Not too much dough, just enough to hold everything else together. Would recommend!

Kalbi - A decent portion and quite delicious. I wouldn't say it's amazing or significantly better than other places, but still would recommend.

Bossam - This was my first time trying bossam. It's a large amount of fatty pork, cut into slices/pieces, served along with kimchi. I think the idea is that you can wrap the pork inside kimchi leaves. I'm not a huge fan of preserved foods, so I mostly just enjoyed the pork (with dipping sauce), which was really good. Even though I usually don't like kimchi, I tried the combo, and it was great! Definitely would recommend if you're eating here.

Another thing to point out is that they serve egg soup along with the usual banchan dishes! That was a pleasant surprise.

It was a great meal, and next time we won't order so much. We probably would've been ok with a regular portion of bossam, or not ordering the kalbi.

Just get the pork special.  Nobody really comes in for anything else.  We got the pork and cheese ricecake dish.  Pork was amazing as always.. the ricecake is def on the sweet side.. tbh, it was too sweet and not spicy enough.

Service was sub par.  Only saw server to order drinks, food and delivery of food.  We actually had to flag him over to settle the bill.  Typical korean restaurant service.

Place has changed ownership a few times since their real hay days.  Glad to see the flavors havent dipped too much.

I came here today with my friends, as 1.20am.
They had a poor servic I ever seen. The guy with glasses and snapback was so terrible. His attitude was so poor and cheap. And all of the people in this place, they showed off as they wanted to chase us out. I could sympathize cuz it was late. But, was it our problem ?
You guy should change your schedule closing time. Or train them how to serv. We are customer, and we pay for your salary. Please respect.
Sorry, I won't give even one cent for tip.
Feel just eat for full, did not enjoy at all.

Solid 3.5 stars. Everything here was fine. Came here for the cheesy ddeokbukki. We also had ddaejigogi and pajeon. As most people have noted, the portions are huge so the price tag seems reasonable considering. One plate is enough for four people, easily. While the ddeok was incredible, soft and the right amount of chewy, the sauce was...I don't know, kind of off for me. It was sweet and almost tomato-sauce like. It was plenty cheesy though. And I liked the boiled egg in it. The ddaejigogi was fine. The pajeon was great! Little pieces of squid and octopus! The banchan had lots of variety. The service was fine. Do people not know there is a button you push to get them to come to your table? If you don't use it, don't whine about not getting enough attention. I guess it was kind of worth the drive to Federal Way for the cheesy Korean food factor.

Food is always amazing, if you are trying out Korean food I recommend the cheese chicken bolgogi it's amazing. It is a bit on the pricey side but if you take a couple of friends with you-you can split costs. It gives you the chance to share and  try a lot of different dishes, they always have side dishes which I love ! You definitely leave stuffed and satisfied, service gets a bit weird. I feel bad sometimes when I  push the call button a bit too much. I just wish they were a bit more friendlier and brought water refill pitchers more often.
